About Us
A historic mill. A blazing clay oven. A table for everyone.
Spun from tradition
Cotton Mill Tandoori brings the spirit of the North Indian dhaba to one of Kilmarnock's best-known buildings.
Our name honours the mill's textile heritage — the cotton boll in our emblem sits above flowing water, a nod to the rivers that once powered Ayrshire's mills. Inside, our chefs work the tandoor the old way: marinades rested overnight, spices toasted and ground each morning, breads slapped onto the clay walls and pulled out blistered and golden.
Upstairs from the kitchen, the bar mixes spice-led cocktails alongside Indian lagers and a considered wine list — so whether it's a quick drink, a family feast or a celebration, there's a seat waiting.
